Big Question

What causes an individual to use traumatic events as motivation to succeed whereas others use them as excuses for their failure?

What is truly worth fighting for?

  1. Something clicks. You ask yourself, "Has there been enough pathetic self-loathing? My friends are moving on, why can't I". Little things push you, like the need to feel included and be with your friends rather than alone withering with the memories of the past. If you truly believe in a cause, like your own future, that is something worth fighting for. Because the fact that you believe in it means you love it. You love it because you are willing to work for it. You are willing to give it your time, time that is very limited in this lifetime. You also realize that everyone has a past. Some that are carefree while some that are equally or even more gruesome than yours. So why feel sorry for yourself? WHY impede your life when all those around you will not pause theirs just so that you can catch up. Who knows, maybe others have different reasons. Maybe others had people to kick them forward. Who truly knows the inner workings of our enigmatic brain...
